Mashup: This City is a Body || Sold (to the lucky ones)

Picture 1This City is a Body is a mashup of two CuriousWorks projects: video excerpts from our ‘This City is a Body’ conference in 2007 and a song by our audiovisual collective, Asi, called ‘Sold’.

The clip is the trailer for CuriousWorks’ first ever feature film, This City is a Body: The Migrant Project Film. We’ll be premiering the film at our warehouse this November. Check out the clip at the jump!

All Around You: Roebourne – Arts Media Installation in Chalk Horse Gallery, Surry Hills

2688553908_868ac2dea1We have an installation opening at Chalk Horse gallery tomorrow night that runs to 25th July. The installation is a kind of immersive experience of Roebourne, Western Australia, where we worked for 4 weeks last year and will return to over the next two years.

It features timelapses of the town and surrounding landscapes, a documentary filmed by young people from Roebourne and an interactive photo gallery of images also taken by a young person from Roebourne. If you’re ever in Surry Hills in July, pop in to check it out! » Read the rest of this entry «
